It has great ability to adapt to the most diverse climatic conditions and winemaking techniques, while retaining its recognizable characteristics and perfectly expressing the various terroir.

It seems to be the fruit of a spontaneous crossing of cabernet franc and sauvignon blanc, which occurred somewhere in Gironde in the eighteenth century.
