Did you know? An Italian proverb says that "Red wine makes good blood" ... and apparently has the right properties to help lengthen life, or at least this is what happens to yeast and human cells grown in the lab by scientists at Harvard Medical School and Laboratories of BIOMOL.
According to the results of their research, polyphenols, which are compounds extracted from red wine (and can be found in certain vegetables) have the effect of extending the life of the cells. Not only are they endowed with antioxidant power, but above all they can activate certain substances that can intervene to improve and prolong the lifespan of these cells.
