Tili Sacreterre Umbria Rosso IGT

Technique: Palmet, or fan pruning, with spring cluster thinning and organic farming methods without the use of pesticides and herbicides.  Carbonic maceration in rotary fermentation tank followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and one year ageing in stainless steel tanks.  Further ageing for five years in oak barriques, followed by bottle ageing.  A wonderful red wine made using the ancient sagrantino grape.

Production Area: Assisi, Umbria

Harvest: 6000 litres per hectare yield.
